About OEE

Oklahoma Energy Explorers

Formed in July 2002, OEE is a local not-for-profit organization that exists to foster relationships between large and small E&P operators, oilfield service and midstream companies. This statewide oil and gas group meets four times a year, beginning in the fall, in an informal, after-hours business networking format.

Membership Eligibility

Any person who works in the oil and gas exploration and production industry or any of its affiliated businesses may join. Memberships are on an individual basis, although companies may purchase multiple memberships for their employees.

Meetings

OEE meets at the OKC Petroleum Club Downtown, located on the 34th floor of the Chase Tower. The meetings, which feature drinks and hors d'oeuvres, are from 5-7 p.m. At each meeting, the Oklahoma Energy Explorers pay tribute to a company important to the energy industry in Oklahoma. The only formal program is a short presentation-typically given by the honored CEO.

Recent honorees include Tapstone Energy, BP Lower 48 Onshore, EnCap, Gulfport, Enable, Halliburton, Marathon, Newfield, GE Oil & Gas, XTO Energy, Continental Resources, Chesapeake, Baker Hughes, Samson Resources, Kimray, and LE Norman Operation.
